Giro created the Register MIPS XL Helmet for riders in search of Giro's renowned fit and in an extra-large size. Inspired by the sleek style and cooling ventilation of the Giro Register helmet, the Register MIPS is at home on pavement or the trail. Giro utilized In-Mold construction to make it light without compromising durability and the acclaimed, adjustable Roc Loc Sport retention system makes it easy to custom-tune the fit for comfort and stability.

The Register MIPS also features the Multi-Directional Impact Protection System (MIPS) as standard equipment. MIPS technology reduces the rotational forces caused by angled impacts and this added technology does not compromise fit, ventilation, or style.

Note: The Register MIPS XL Helmet is the latest version of the Bronte MIPS Helmet.

Helmet Measurements:

  • Wrap a measuring tape around your head
  • Make sure that tape is level from front to back
  • Note measurement and reference Size Chart
Circumference (cm)
Universal Women50 - 57cm
Universal Adult54 - 61cm
Universal XL58 - 65cm

Note: Make sure the helmet fits with a little room when the fit system is loose, and sits low enough to protect your forehead without hindering your vision. Once you've got the right size, you can adjust the fit.

How to Adjust Fit:

  1. Adjust the fit system at the rear of the helmet for a snug, secure fit. Some helmets also include a vertical tuning feature that allows you to adjust the fore/aft tilt, for optimal positioning on your head.
  2. Adjust the straps so that they sit just below the earlobes.
  3. Adjust the buckle so that it rests against the back of the jaw/throat.
  4. Adjust the interior pads if needed.
  5. Check the fit to make sure helmet is comfortable and secure. It should not roll forward or back, or be able to slide off.

Note: All measurements are provided by the manufacturer and may vary depending on how measurements are acquired.
