The Lazer Blade+ Helmet combines great looks with high performance. This is the helmet you wear on your weekend rides and your daily commutes. Its narrow shape combined with the Advanced Rollsys retention system provides an excellent fit and great adjustability. There are 22 vents to keep you cool and the weight is kept to a minimum to make sure you can fly down the road in comfort. The Blade+ comes with a bottomshell to provide a clean finish and additional impact protection. The integration of the low friction MIPS layer adds protection against rotational impacts.

It doesn't seem as cool as my prior helmet and I wish the straps were a bit narrower. I don't think weight is really an issue - my neck should be strong enough to withstand a few grams difference. Given COVID I couldn't really try it on first, which might have resulted in my ruling it out, however it has consistently good safety ratings so I'll keep it. Overall it's a good upgrade to MIPS, but I might be tempted to try on a few different models once it's safer to do so and upgrade from this one a little sooner than I would otherwise.

Great looking with a slim height. Fits like a glove with easy adjustment. Weight misleading because mips liner not included. Medium weighs 315 grams.

  • Measure circumference of head 2.5cm above eyebrows
