Louis Garneau Providence 2 Bib Tights (Black) (L)
Normally, I wear unlined tights with no chamois in cold weather down to 45 degrees. I bought these for riding in weather below those temperatures, mainly in the 30s. I have worn them now several times in such temperatures and they provide excellent warmth, and fit very well. I prefer the lack of chamois so that I can wear them over suitable shorts, some with chamois and some without, depending on which saddle I am using. (The so-called Infinity saddle that I have is not meant to be used with padded shorts.) I have used this brand of tights for many years and have found that they last a long time and are a high quality product.

Measurement Guide:

  1. Chest- Take measurement of the circumference around the fullest part of the chest while arms are relaxed at sides
  2. Waist- Measure the circumference of the waist at the natural crease of the waist while keeping tape measure a bit loose (finding natural waist crease can be easily found by bending over to one side)
  3. Hips- Standing with feet together, measure the circumference around the fullest part of the hips at the top of the legs
  4. Inseam- Using pants that fit well, measure the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg
  5. Body Length- Run a tape measure from the top pf the shoulder, across the chest/belly, through the crotch and up the back to the starting point

Measurement Notes:

  • Keep tape measure level and not too tight
  • For most accurate results, take measurements over underwear or close fitting apparel
  • Take measurements twice with a flexible tape measure to ensure accuracy
