Michelin Dynamic Sport Road Tire (Black) (700c) (28mm)
The Michelin Dynamic Sport is a good, economical tire for road bikes. I always place a flat-resistant liner, like a wider-sized Mr. Tuffy Tire Liner, and or a Panasonic Arimid Liner, inside of the tire to resist Goat-Head Thorns, and then the Michelin Dynamic Sport is largely trouble-free for about 1,800 miles, assuming you weight under 160 pounds and that you are not riding hard around corners or up steep hills or on gravel. The Dynamic Sport Tire in 28 mm width will fit on many older (vintage) road bikes. Unfortunately, some of the newer bikes, like a Cannondale CAAD 8, have such narrow forks and stays that a 25 mm tire is a big as you can fit onto these newer bikes. The Michelin Dynamic Sport Tire measures almost 28 mm wide on a 14 mm internal-width rim, and possibly 2 mm wider on a 19 mm internal-width rim. Since you need about 3 mm of space on each side of the tire, you would need 28mm + 3mm + 3mm = 34 mm horizontal width minimum between the forks or stays to mount a 28 mm tire. Also, many rim-brakes have so little vertical clearance that they may not accept a 28 mm tire, but I have not had that problem yet, and I have mounted 28mm tires on about a dozen older road bikes. A 28 mm tire has the advantage of giving you a little more shock-absorbing ability if you are riding fast on rough roads with pot holes, or on cobble-stones, but on cobbles I would try to use a 32 mm tire. The Micheline Dynamic Sport is a reliable tire, and try to use the 700 x 28 mm tire size on your bike if you can make it fit, and you will have a much better and safer ride on rough roads! Happy Trails, Training and Touring!

Michelin Dynamic Sport Road Tire (Black) (700c) (28mm)
The 700x28 will not fit a road bike. There is not enough clearance for tire on a road bike.
