Mirrycle Mountain Bar End Mirror (Black)
Very simple design, holds adjustment quite well for road & commuting rides. (I can't speak to MTB use.) I've bought 2 of these before & am about to get my 3rd. Mounting is via an expansion fitting that slides into the bar-end. IIRC two sizes are provided to ensure it will fit your bar. Been using one for around 10 years & apart from moving it from bike to bike, have only needed to tighten the set bolts maybe a half dozen times, if that.

Mirrycle Mountain Bar End Mirror (Black)
Just got my second one in 12 years and absolutely love this mirror .I have tried them all but nothing beats this mirror.
