Pearl Izumi Men's Expedition Bib Shorts (Black) (XL)
I have been a fan of Pearl Izumi for years. I have always like their cycling apparel. So I took for granted ordering these shorts I would like them. Yes they are Pearl Izumi quality and I like everything about them except the pad. I am not sure what they were thinking here. They eliminated their usual pad and inserted a diaper. The pad has this extra material that bunches up, especially when you are walking around. Very annoying. I went for 3 different rides thinking I would get use to them but not going to happen. Every time you stand to pedal the fabric bunches up in your posterior if you know what I mean. Would have been great shorts if they had used their regular pad.

Measurement Guide:

  1. Chest- Measure circumference around fullest part, across bust points, keeping the tape horizontal
  2. Waist- Measure circumference around the narrowest part (typically the small of the back where the body bends to the side), keeping tape horizontal
  3. Hips- Measure circumference around fullest part of hips keeping the tape measure horizontal

Measurement Guide Notes:

  • Use the chart to determine size
  • If measurements are between two sizes, sizing down will provide a tighter fit while sizing up will provide a looser fit
  • If the measurements for the chest and waist correspond to two different suggested sizes, choose the size indicated by the chest measurement
  • If measurements for hips and waist correspond to two different suggested sizes, choose the size indicated by the hip measurement
