Saddle styles have dramatically changed. Prologo's Dimension project is no exception to this snub-nose, wide-tailed saddle approach. It is all about comfort, performance, lightness and preventing perineal area problems. The project resulted in a saddle unlike anything Prologo had created. The saddle has a short nose (3+ cm shorter than a traditional saddle) to reduce contact and pressure in the frontal area, especially for low position riding, like riding in the drops. It also features a wide tail for improved stability, weight distribution and power transfer.

comfy, light, good for long distances, whether touring in a more upright position or the more agressive road ride position. Have tried a lot of saddles, but the traditional comfy saddles (e.g. brooks) just don't do it for me, either in comfort, or practicality. The Prologo is great!

Bought this saddle to replace the horrible stock Trek Domane model. Being an old guy I was definitely looking for a cutout saddle to give some relief to the "in between" area. This saddle has that feature. It also has a grip layer to keep you from sliding around. I was interested in this feature because when I get tired I tend to slide forward on the saddle nose....which puts more pressure "in between".
The saddle is firm, which I like. The cutout does what it is supposed to and I have no numbness after riding distance. The surface of the saddle definitely keeps me in place. Honestly I did not buy the saddle for the short nose, but now that I have it I love the feature. It allows me to ride in the drops comfortably with out putting pressure on the...wait for it...."in between area".
As a bonus the saddle looks cool. I would recommend it.
