The Ridley X-Trail C10 Gravel Bike has been described as equal parts road bike, cyclocross bike and endurance bike, combining road bike fluidity and speed with cross bike ruggedness. It's a beautiful blend that has resulted in an impressive all-road bike.

The X-Trail C10's bombproof durability and race-proven pedigree is built upon a high modulus carbon fiber frameset that is stiff and lightweight, but also incredibly durable. The Fenix frame is made from a 24-ton high-modulus carbon fiber. That's a mid-grade carbon fiber compared to the 60, 40 and 30-ton blend used on the super-light Helium SL, so Ridley's choice make sense. The Fenix frame is able to offer a superior stiffness-to-weight ratio as a result, one that balances the strength, comfort and stiffness required to withstand the cobbled climbs and pav of northern Europe, where Ridley was born. A tapered head tube and PF30 bottom bracket keep also add to the frame's stiffness, while thin seat stays add plenty of compliance to your ride. The X-Trail C10 also has a lower bottom bracket compared to the company's X-Night and X-Fire cyclocross bikes, which offers improved handling on paved road and improved stability off road. A slightly longer head tube enhances comfort in the endurance department. While a rear thru axle improves stiffness, especially when braking, further enhancing the X-Trail C10's all-road capabilities.

The X-Trail C10 is disc brake specific, and will easily clear at least a 40mm tire, probably more, so you can have all the tire clearance you need for pretty much any adventure. The Ornyx full carbon fork also employs a thru axle to help stiffen up the front end and make aligning disc caliper and rotor easy after removing the wheel. The fork blades are asymmetrical, as Ridley added more material on the left fork leg to minimize twisting loads associated with disc brakes, while the right fork is slimmer to minimize weight.

The Ridley X-Trail is equipped with Shimano's Ultegra DI2 11-speed groupset, compact crankset and Shimano BR-RS805 Hydraulic Disc brakes. Shimano's first electronic groupset was a technological leap in shifting when first introduced, and of course the company's Ultegra Di2 electronic drivetrain has been the beneficiary of that breakthrough. Changing gears has never been so easy, effortless and fast. Ultegra Di2 features an automatic trimming front derailleur, so you never have to hear the sound of chain rub again. The shifters act with digital push button shifting and are ergonomically shaped for optimal comfort and control, and the lever reach adjust fits all hand sizes. The Di2 rear derailleur is pre-programmed allowing you to shift gears quickly and accurately in all conditions. The derailleur is ruggedly dependable and protected from impact damage by its reinforced inner cage. The maximum sprocket of 28-teeth affords wide-range gearing. The battery, at the heart of the drivetrain, uses lithium ion technology and guarantees a range of 1,250 miles. The Ultegra drivetrain includes a 50/34 compact crankset with n 11/32T cassette that creates the perfect balance of gearing for flat roads and mountain passes alike.

Rounding things out is build kit from Ridley's house brand 4ZA components, including an alloy stem, handlebar, and saddle. DT Swiss disc-ready thru axle wheels offer a great premium ride quality, with a semi-deep section rim for some aerodynamic gains that won't weigh you down. Wrapping up the wheels is a set of super premium Challenge Gravel Grinder 700x38c tires to help keep you hooked into the trail with a geat balance of light weight and traction for an excellent all-around tire.
