I am sure the SRAM SRM x0 2x10 Crankset would have been a very cool upgrade to my cross country bike, but Performance sent me a road crank instead. This to me is just one more piece of evidence of the downward spiral Performance is on. I've never received the wrong part until this order and I have been a customer since the beginning. While I received really good customer service when I called in to figure out how to fix the order issue, the product was no longer available so I had to go to another online store to purchase a crank. These are some of the other downward trends which have caused me to shift my loyalty to a new online bike store, hint: it Starts with a "J" ends with a "USA."
They closed my local store
They closed my other local store
They removed all the product reviews on the website
They stopped offering 10% for members
They no longer offer free shipping
They've become NASHBAR, so why not just be NASHBAR and retire the Performance name, (The company could probably sell the name and make some money which they apparently really must need)
Their new shipping is really slow
What happened to the FORTE brand?
I really wanted to continue being a customer, but Performance is just making it too hard.
