Bought these because I have wide feet and they are built on Shimano's Volume Performance Last. I'm usually a 46.5 wide, and the 47s fit well enough. I've received a lot of compliments on the way they look, and I have to agree, Shimano did a good job with the styling. They don't breathe the best, but that's forgivable. The vibram soles are plenty grippy on platform pedals. The debris shield over the laces is a very nice feature as well.
It's a well designed shoe. I'll probably buy them again if these wear out.
