This Shimano RS81 C50 Carbon Laminate Clincher Wheelset is a high performance road racing wheelset to meet the demands of today’s professional and amateur riders. The 50 mm deep, 22.4 mm wide (D2) carbon rim with an aluminum braking surface for improved aerodynamics and increased rigidity is ideal for sprinters and TT specialists as well as the everyday casual riding entusiast. This wheel is both light weight and rigid whilst maintaining high braking performance with standard brake pads thereby not falling into the dangers of over heating carbon wheel failure. The cold forged and machined hub has polished bearing races to reduce friction and provide for smooth rotation. While the Labyrinth double contact sealing effectively shuts out water, mud, and dirt without affecting roll and smoothness.
