Framed Wolftrax Alloy X5 Women's Fat Bike 2016
When a fat bike company like Framed Bikes gets it in their heads to make a women's bike, they aren't going to be satisfied simply swapping out the saddle and handlebars. Instead they start with the frame geometry and make a bike that will fit a typically smaller rider, putting the rider more centered above the bike so it's easier to handle those monster tires. This geometry also puts the rider lower to the ground both for better handling but also more confidence.
Just because this much thought has been put into the frame and geometry doesn't mean that any sacrifices have to be made when it comes to performance. SRAM's X5 component group is a testament to the balancing point between affordability and performance. This drivetrain is given power by a Truvativ double crankset giving you ample gearing options and stopping power is handled by Avid's BB5 disc brakes with 160mm rotors.
The first thing you'll notice about the Wolftrax bike is of course the Wolftrax tires. These 4x26" monsters have received rave reviews and are suitable for all conditions. They are wrapped around Framed rims which sport large rectangular cutouts to save crucial weight and also add that extra flashy touch. One thing's for sure, nothing is going to be able to stand in your way when you're on board the Framed Wolftrax!
