Smith Forefront 2 MIPS MTB Helmet
Smith's top-of-the-line, award-winning mountain bike helmet gets a makeover for 2018 and now comes with a MIPS (Multi-Directional Impact Protection System) option. There are 20 vents vs. 21 in prior years, but they're much larger, and more strategically placed, to work with the Koroyd crumple zone to keep you cooler. The liner itself extends down the back of the helmet for better protection. Smith redesigned its AirEvac channeling to help dissipate warm air inside the helmet. Redesigned channels on the front and back allow you to firmly wear your sunglasses on your helmet, and the new visor rotates high if you want to wear goggles instead. Integrated camera and light mounts are on the Forefront 2, too. And it's also 13 grams lighter than the previous version. A win all around.
