Goodyear Transit Tour Commute Tire
In 1898, Goodyear entered the market with its first product -- a bicycle tire. Now skip forward through 120 years of history and the Goodyear name, absent from bicycles since 1976, is back with a new line of tires that combines high technology, low rolling resistance and outstanding puncture protection.
Goodyear's Transit Tour borrows from the company's Assurance all-weather car tires to give commuters the grip and safety they need when the skies open up. Using the silica-infused rubber compound called "Dynamic:Silica4," the Transit Speed sticks to the road with minimal rolling resistance and has an under-tread layer of what Goodyear calls its S:3 aramid rubber to ward against road debris.
The Transit Tour comes in two sizes: 700x35 and 700x40. So if you're looking for safety when riding in inclement weather, or just want an outstanding tire and a name with more than a century of history, slip on a pair of Goodyear Transit Speeds.
