I was looking for an affordable, albeit quality steel fixie frameset and narrowed my choices to the WABI Special and SOMA Rush. I'm second guessing my decision to go with the Rush based on among other things what appears to be poor manufacturer quality control. The clear coat paint is brittle to say the least and out of the box there were chips around the bottom bracket shell so unless handled gently, which isn't likely, I expect the frame to require a lot of touch-up. A bigger concern was even after having the BB shell raced the non drive side threading was less than precise and only after a half hour PITA was I able to get the Sugino cup lined up and installed so it sat flush against the frame. Next was the drive side dropout which was roughly 5 mil narrower at the open end compared to the non drive side, and wouldn't accept a standard wheel axle without first having to carefully expand the slot enough the axle would slide in without having to force it. Not doing so I would be unable to seat the wheel properly to ensure proper chain line and tension. Next up is installing a threaded headset which based on this initial experience I expect to be an adventure. The 3 Year LIMITED Warranty is excessively stringent to the point of being useless for addressing these kind of problems. I'll follow up when the bike is fully built out and ridden. You get what you pay for and may end up wishing I'd spend the extra $$ for a WABI.
