Its outsole features the SlipNot™ 2.0 rubber compound, which was made to have a great connection to your pedal. Pedal connection isn’t just about rubber. While the rubber hardness and stickiness do matter, the lug pattern, midsole thickness, and density all contribute to the connection. Also, to add protection from "gnarly" trails, Specialized included a toe bumper and a captured foam layer.
