The Specialized Phenom Expert is a mountain bike saddle you can rely on during long days of shredding trail.  It's designed with both comfort and strength in mind. Just like the Pro Phenom version, it has the Adaptive Edge base construction which allows flexibility in the carbon reinforced shell, to give an almost custom fit feel and reduce chafing as you pedal. The rounded anti snag tail, and low friction panels fore and aft, help you migrate on and off the saddle with ease. The Level 2 padding is lightweight and supportive, for that just right feel without being bulky. Patented Body Geometry Design allows blood flow to sensitive arteries. The Phenom Expert however, has rugged titanium rails for lightweight durability. SWAT compatible mounts molded into the saddle base allow for sleek and integrated storage solutions.

How To Determine Sit Bone Width:

  • 1. Place large piece of cardboard on chair. Place small piece of cardboard lengthwise on large cardboard, where you'll be sitting. Sit on small cardboard with knees at 90º to the floor (use a block or prop under feet to raise them, if necessary). Pull up on chair to create sit bone impression. Stand up when done.
  • 2. Grab small cardboard and marker. Feel cardboard for impressions. Mark a vertical line on each side of left and right sit bone impressions. There should be four lines on cardboard. Make a dot in the center of each sit bone impression. Measure the distance between dots.
