The Stages Gen 3 Dual-Sided power meter has been built into the noteworthy Shimano Ultegra crankset to provide riders with hours of accurate, trustworthy data. Consistent data measurements are the most important part of a powermeter and Stages powermeters make temperature compensations automatically to ensure readings remain accurate and consistent no matter the environmental conditions. They are also calibrated individually to an accuracy of +/-1.5% so that riders can trust they are receiving a real measurement and not an estimation.

4/5 only because IMO the unit ought to perform like a speed/cadence sensor of any sort: minimal maintenance. They advise to do a zero reset before every ride, and for the cost of what you're paying for, you should be able to hop on and go. Worry free and maintenance free. With that said and the only con out of the way: It's pretty awesome. Does what it is intended to do, doesn't drop out on me when riding, linked up to my garmin no issues, and is a huge game changer in how I train. Would advise 10/10 for anyone seriously wanting to move their cycling to the next level. Was easy to install just like any Hollowtech crankset and shifts/performs as expected for Ultegra components. Solid product and really enjoy it.
