The TransIt TS-1 Rear Rack can carry up to 40 pounds and accommodates panniers, rack trunks, baskets, or bags. Its sturdy 6000 series aluminum construction makes it ideal for commuting, touring, or running errands around town.

TransIt TS-1 Rear Bike Rack (Black)
This rack is functional and seems well made. Installation should have been easy, but it turns out the rack needs extra brackets, which are not included - the ones provided are too short. I ended up having to take it to a bike shop to be installed, for $45. The shop owner said many racks need these extra brackets, so he was familiar with retrofitting it to make it work. I hope Transit will include appropriate hardware for purchasers in the future.
