Vittoria TLR Tubeless Road Insert Kit (Green) (Includes 2 Air-Liners) (L)
The product seems like it would be great and I really tried hard to make it work. Unfortunately, as a product, these liners really suck. Installing the tires are extremely difficult and removing them is even more arduous. It seems that these inserts would make the sealant work better, but for some reason, with the inserts in, there was always a slow leak in both tires. After going through the painful process of installing and removing them twice, I gave up on them. I installed my tires without the insert and they don’t leak anymore. Additionally, the plier-like tool they provided is an inferior design. The protective tips fall off constantly and as a tool, it is only marginally helpful.

On the other hand, Performance stood behind the product and gave me a refund. I was only out the return shipping cost.

Vittoria TLR Tubeless Road Insert Kit (Green) (Includes 2 Air-Liners) (L)
The installation of the Vittoria Road tire inserts is a bit difficult but it can be done.
I ran a sharpie around the "bottom flat of the insert of which sits into the rim bed. I did this to ensure I was not twisting the insert on the way in.
Mount the first tire bead around the rim, make sure it sits on the correct side of the valve.
Feed the insert in and work around. Mount the outer bead of the tire with your fingers (behind the insert) as the insert heads into the rim bed.
I used a couple of 2 inch spring clamps on the sidewalls of the tires to keep the insert from popping out as I got to the last few inches into the rim bed.
When the outer bead gets to the point where you can no longer get it around the rim edge go back around the outer sidewall with the four fingers of each hand squeezing the outer side wall to the center of the rim bed. Do this a few times.
It is important to get the outer wall into the center.
I sprayed the remaining outer bead with some Windex as lubrication and used a Tyre Glider to finish the outer bead mounting. (It took some muscle).

I used the Briskmore sealer injector with the screw on to the valve tube, to squeeze the Vittoria sealant via the valve. The bottle may have worked but I like tools and gadgets. Forget about pouring the sealer into the tire. I didn't even try it!

I also dismounted the tire as practice for the future.
Let the air out. Remove the valve core, break both beads using the Vittoria pliers.
Go around the sidewall (you intend to remove first) with the four fingers of both hands working the sidewall once again into the middle of the rim bed. Go around as much as it takes.
Once you get the sidewall into the middle you can get the bead over the rim edge. I used the Tyre Glider to do so. I sprayed Windex as a lubricant and with a little bit of strength pushed the tool and easily got the outer bead around the rim.

Vittoria TLR Tubeless Road Insert Kit (Green) (Includes 2 Air-Liners) (S)
Anyone who uses tubeless systems knows how hard it is to mount tires. The tire bead must be positioned in the wheel well to provide the slack to pull the last part of the tire over the rim of the wheel. Using the air-liner forces the tire to expand along the bead of the wheel and it was impossible to mount my tire. I would love to return this product.
