They are made from lightweight aluminum and are available in multiple axle sizes, thread lengths, and thread pitches. This version is made specifically for bicycles that use the Syntace X-12 System, which includes many models from Specialized, Cannondale, Intense, 3T, Canyon, and others. The main difference between this and other Wolf Tooth axles is that the X-12 axle uses a conical washer rather than a flat washer.
