WTB HTZ i35 Rim Description:

E-bikes add to the riding experience by providing more for less. More distance, more laps, more climbs and more descents. With all those “mores” also comes more weight continually bashing on the components of an e-bike. In order to combat the additional wear and tear of e-bikes, WTB designed their HTZ rims to be burlier in every imaginable way. The thickest rim walls they offer, a proven I-Beam center support, asymmetrical spoke hole drilling and dependable 6069 aluminum alloy deliver a bombproof rim that doesn't break the bank. HTZ i35 rims are the perfect choice for your e-assist trail, enduro or downhill bike.

  • Heavy duty E-Bike rims with 20-30% thicker walls in comparison to standard rims
  • I-beam construction adds additional strength and durability
  • 4D spoke holes have precise departure angles to align the spoke head and nipple with the hub flange, eliminating binding and lateral loading while also dispersing the load more evenly over a greater area
  • Spoke holes are offset 6mm for i30 and 7mm for i35
  • TCS 2.0 rims deliver WTB's easiest to mount and most reliable tubeless system
  • WTB Solid Strip is included with rim and provides a smooth surface between tire and rim. It also prevents a broken spoke from puncturing the tubeless system and losing air
  • TCS tape is also required for tubeless set up
