After installation and airing up the tire has lots of side to side wobble. The rim is true, but the tire is not close to true. The original worn tire spun true.
My son tried multiple deflations and massaging the tire around a bit to see if it would help. No dice. Still wobbles.
As a comparison, I flipped over my mountain bike with larger slicks. Gave the wheels a spin... very little tire wobble.
The WTB was the worst tire wobble I have seen in any bike tire. I would not purchase them again.
The tires seem usable, but I would worry that at speed there would be tire balance/vibration issues.
Tires will not seat to rimes or just aren’t round.
I tried mounting on multiple rims and had no luck.
Don’t waste your time.
I acquired them because I am an Amateur Cyclist and ride in Florida. Here there's no such thing as Silk-smooth roads/streets by any means.
True to the uneven construction, furthermore; is up/down and side to side wobble.
What I did to improve the tires was: Inflate the tires close to the higher PSI range(as per side-wall, 45-80), ride over 30 miles in warm weather, deflate the tires and again inflate the tires to a fairly high PSI range(around 70psi).
That broke-in the tires and made them better, Not Perfect; but better.
They feel much better that my old worn-out tires. This feel stronger and seems that they can at least handle some of the Glass in this roads that will hopefully avoid some flats.
Only time will tell.
I will attempt to add more info later if anything changes, but for now; I will give this tires a 3.4 of 5, to round it will be a 3.
I hope this helps some Fellow Cyclist.
