Born from the need to race in European enduro events, the Vigilante is WTB's premier aggressive All Mountain tire, and first choice for Team WTB’s Mark Weir.  The square-lugged open-tread pattern offers stability in loose or wet terrain, while the stiff outside knobs grip at lean angles like nobody’s business.

With WTB's Dual DNA rubber compound this is the tire to ride when you are giving it your all. Dual DNA is the perfect mix of efficiency, traction and durability. The centerline tread features a firmer rubber compound that boasts faster rolling and increased durability, while the side knobs are composed of softer, slower-rebounding rubber that improves control and grip

Features:

  • Square lugged open tread pattern offers stability in loose or wet terrain, while stiff outside knobs grip at steep lean angles
  • Fast Rolling: Long-wearing rubber designed for low rolling resistance and durability
  • TCS: Tubeless Compatible System combines the ride benefits of a tubeless tire with the minimal weight of a race tire
  • Light Casing: A supple, gram-conscious carcass designed to be compliant and conform to trail objects while still providing a happy balance of low rotational weight and rugged reliability

WTB Vigilante Dual DNA TCS Tubeless Tire (Black) (27.5") (2.3")
This is a great tire! Its grippy and precise, at a reasonable weight...point the bars where you want to go, and its gonna dig in and take you there. Im using it on the front with a TCS Light/Fast trail boss in the rear. Im really happy with this combo and would recommend it to anyone who wants a fast, all mountain/techy trail tire combo that pedals well.
