Delta Alloy Water Bottle Cage (Teal Anodized)

The teal anodized aluminum looks great, but the design of the cage is awful. It's been so long that I forgot this type of cage design doesn't work well. The bracket clamps around the primary cage that holds the bottle; therefore the water bottle catches on the clamps as you slide it into the cage. It's distracting when riding. I recommend buying a cage that has a welded bracket rather than something with an obstruction. Furthermore, when the bottle is inserted the fit is poor. I tried all of my water bottles and they were compressed significantly by the cage. This isn't a problem with the 5 other cages on my bikes. Finally, the cage is a bit too long at the tip, so it catches on the top of the water bottle neck (several different ones) and prevents the bottle from fully seating. I wouldn't buy another even if the finish is pretty.
