The Cane Creek "thudbuster" suspension seat post is a awesome upgrade to our fat tire ebike. It's not like my full suspension bike but a huge improvement. Zero slop in the suspension design. Highly recommend this simple affordable yet high quality suspension seatpost

The product is good, however it did not come with the proper elastomers. It is supposed to have the #3, #5, and #7. It came with #5, #7,#9. Of course I need the #3. I chatted online with a Nashbar associate, but was told they didn't "see" any of the #3's in stock. Emails to Cane Creek have been even less helpful. I realize this is not the latest generation Thudbuster, but it should come with the stated parts. I ordered one from another site, but of course it was for the G4 Thudbuster despite showing a picture of a G3. Still searching for a #3 G3 elastomer.

I have used these before on a hardtail man bike. I wanted a thud buster to absorb some of the shock without being too soft and the thud buster meets the need. I do not notice the movement of the saddle but it does improve comfort by absorbing vibration and shock. After my experience with my mtn bike, I picked up another one for my new gravel bike and again it improves comfort without a noticeable movement of the saddle.
