Deda Elementi Special Bar Tape (Black Carbon) (2)
This bar tape is awful: despite the embossed texture the tape feels plasticky and slippery to the point of being hazardous (FWIW I ride without gloves). I like to put my forearms on my bar tops, TT style, on long flat roads and I can’t safely do that because the tape is so slick. Additionally this tape offers very little cushioning.
Pros? It wraps easily and it’s thin (if that’s what you’re looking for).
