More than a decade after the first W.F.O. 9 defined the category and set a benchmark for what a long-travel 29er could do, Niner is bringing it back. The 2021 WFO 9 RDO draws on our years of 29er evolution to establish a new paradigm of unbridled, big-wheel domination.
CVA Suspension
170mm of tubed CVA rear suspension paired with 180mm fork travel. Stable yet supple while climbing and pedaling. Going downhill, it’s sensitive and supportive. It’s consistent and controlled in every phase of travel.
Just right geometry
Just slack enough head tube angle of 64 degrees and steep seat tube angle of 77 degrees. Short, straight seat tube accommodates 170mm dropper posts. Low stack height and short head tube accommodate a wide fit range and riser bars. And short, 435mm chainstays.
Frame features
Durable frame protection in key locations, including a downtube shuttle guard. Smooth, straight full sleeve internal cable routing for easy maintenance and a clean look. Oversized lower shock pocket for compatibility with all aftermarket rear shocks. Massive clearance for 2.6" tires and a water bottle mount inside the frame.
