Paul Components Klamper Disc Brake Caliper (All Black) (Mechanical) (Front or Rear) (Short Pull)
I have tried a lot of brakes now (Avid BB7 SL, TRP Spyre, some SRAM hydraulic ones, among others) and these are my favorite by far. They are super easy to set up and adjusting them is the easiest of all I have used. I find their stopping power to be more than I even need riding around the city. Some people say they look clunker, I disagree. I think they look well-made and solid. The downside, they are expensive. But I am thinking and hoping that these will be the ones I use for a very long time, helping to justify the price. One note on adjusting, they have large adjusting wheels which I love but the outside one was quite tight at first making it hard to adjust. Over time this tightness lessened making it easier. All in all, I am loving these brakes.
