Pearl Izumi PRO AmFIB Lobster Gloves (Black) (XS) (S)
I have been using an awesome pair of Pearl Izumi lobster gloves (Primaloft?) for many, many years and while the PRO AmFIB lobster gloves look sharp, they are functionally a downgrade in many ways. In particular, (1) replacing the fleece wiping surface on the back of the index/middle finger with non-fleece, rubbery strip surface means I can't really use it to wipe away nasal residue and comfortably clean debris from my tires during rides, (2) replacing the wrist hugging fabric with a generic wrist cover means that my wrists are exposed many times as I extend my arms during rides and (3) last but not least the addition of a Velcro glove tightening wrist solution. I mean seriously, once I put on my lobster gloves, the last thing I want to do is try to fasten a Velcro strap on my other hand. Other than that, the gloves are good.
