Always pushing the boundaries of bike technology, Specialized developed Mirror to provide a new level of saddle comfort. To make the S-Works Romin EVO Saddle, Specialized took the fundamental design of the Romin saddle and replaced the foam with 3D printing from a liquid polymer – creating a complex honeycomb structure. The updated design reduces sit bone pressure by up to 26% – making those long days in the saddle just a little easier. To complement the Mirror design, Specialized utilizes a FACT carbon shell and oversized carbon rails – making this saddle light and race-ready. As with all Specialized Romin Saddles, the Romin Evo Mirror is optimized for comfort when riding in a low, aero position.

I purchased this seat prior to taking part in a 400 mile/4 day ride due to not being able to get comfortable on my previous and seat experiencing numbness on long rides. I couldn’t be more satisfied with the seat. The seat allows for movement when climbing or just repositioning due to long rides. The seat is firm enough at the sit bones and soft enough everywhere else that the seat becomes an afterthought on long rides. It’s worth the price.

Good day to you, sorry i have no review. I am sending this seat back due to it having to be replaced after 3- years stated by the manufacturer. I cannot afford to buy a seat every 3 years.

How To Determine Sit Bone Width:

  • 1. Place large piece of cardboard on chair. Place small piece of cardboard lengthwise on large cardboard, where you'll be sitting. Sit on small cardboard with knees at 90º to the floor (use a block or prop under feet to raise them, if necessary). Pull up on chair to create sit bone impression. Stand up when done.
  • 2. Grab small cardboard and marker. Feel cardboard for impressions. Mark a vertical line on each side of left and right sit bone impressions. There should be four lines on cardboard. Make a dot in the center of each sit bone impression. Measure the distance between dots.
