Keeping a clean chain is important. Maintaining your chain regularly is the key to a long chain life and keeping your shifting smooth and fast. Whether you use WD-40 on a chain (please don't), or if you religiously wax chains in a vat or bucket with paraffin, Wend's Wax-On, twist-up, paste makes it easy to lubricate your chain. Using a paraffin based formula, Wend's Wax-On is the first ever “rub‐on," wax-based chain lubricant. With Wend's Wax-On Chain Lube and Wax-Off Cleaner, you can wax on and wax off your chain like Mr. Miyagi. Oh, not to mention, with these colored Wax-On products they can change the color of your chain. That's pretty cool, right?
- Zinc and Teflon, proven proprietary friction reducers and lubricants
- Functions like a stick of deodorant (twists up)
Application: Simply rub the wax paste onto the rollers
Formula: Paraffin-based formula
Note: Check out the video below for specific application of Wend's Wax-On paired with Wax-Off.
I put it on my chain while I was questioning the process and the results. The green wax was all over my chain. After completing steps done in the video in the description, I cleaned the sides of the links pretty good, and I rubbed the wax into the bearings in with my fingers. I let it dry while still having some doubts about this colored wax.
I guess it kinda smells like Simple-Green.
Then I rode on my bike with a fully Wend Waxed chain. It felt like my chain was made of water. My chain was really just gliding along silently. It was like I was riding my bike for the first time. This product is totally worth it, once I experienced what it did to my chain while I was riding, I stopped asking questions.
