Microshift TS71 Thumb-Tap Trigger Shifters (Black) (Pair) (3 x 8 Speed)
I purchased this pair of shifters to replace aging twist shifters. I have never been a fan of traditional flat-bar lever-and trigger shifters, mostly because I ride through the winter and the trigger is almost impossible to operate while wearing mittens. However, since both the lever and trigger are operated by using one's thumb, these Thumb-Tap shifters obviate that problem. Installation was easy and shifts are prompt and predictable.
