Pearl Izumi Men's Attack Shorts (Black) (S)
I've got the same issue as the previous reviewer, I have a 29" waist, the size chart shows a small - I could BARELY squeeze them on. Re-ordered a medium. Performance was very generous and applied the sales price and discount code of the original order to the replacement.

Pearl Izumi Men's Attack Shorts (Black) (M)
Up size. I am 160#, 32"-33" waist, 5'-11. Fit guide shows medium, which is what I typically wear in lycra shorts. I couldn't even get these over my hips.

Pearl Izumi Men's Attack Shorts (Black) (M)
What? Medium - same as the other review - can't even get them over my hips! They might fit a 10 year old boy! Worst yet - no response from 2 emails sent to Customer Service and numerous phone calls (longer than a 10 min hold)! You lost me as a customer!

Pearl Izumi Men's Attack Shorts (Black) (S)
Purchased these shorts many times over the years. These shorts purchased May 2021 are NOT the quality I was used too. Something changed. They are smaller and the padding is just not the same quality. VERY Disappointed. I've had probably 20 pairs of these over many years. I'd like to return for last years model ???

Measurement Guide:

  1. Chest- Measure circumference around fullest part, across bust points, keeping the tape horizontal
  2. Waist- Measure circumference around the narrowest part (typically the small of the back where the body bends to the side), keeping tape horizontal
  3. Hips- Measure circumference around fullest part of hips keeping the tape measure horizontal

Measurement Guide Notes:

  • Use the chart to determine size
  • If measurements are between two sizes, sizing down will provide a tighter fit while sizing up will provide a looser fit
  • If the measurements for the chest and waist correspond to two different suggested sizes, choose the size indicated by the chest measurement
  • If measurements for hips and waist correspond to two different suggested sizes, choose the size indicated by the hip measurement
