In 1994, Portland natives Alex Stiles and Gary Geist founded the Lucky Lab Brewpub. The idea came to Geist and Stiles in 1991, when they visited Europe on a post-college backpacking trip. They so enjoyed the pub culture throughout their travels, that they were inspired to create their own. Lucky Lab, as you might expect, is a very pet-friendly venue and its bulletin board is filled with photos of its customers' pets, which appear to be primarily labs.

The Lucky Lab Classic jersey is intended to communicate the spirit and fun of the Black Lab logo featured on the jersey. It is a must for any dog lover who is equally wild about cycling.
