Ritchey 4-Axis Adjustable Stem (Black) (31.8mm) (90mm) (Adjustable)
This is a tall guy's friend. I was looking everywhere for a quality simple stem with some rise and I just couldn't find anything! (Didn't feel like using the risers - or the cheap steep stems on Amazon.)
With the interlocking pivot joint clamped with TWO bolts tightened to 10 N-m, that connection is rock solid. Trying different angles takes a bit of time - you have to loosen those two bolts way out, and reset the steering each time. (The manual on the Ritchey web site was not of much help. I recommend torquing down those pivot bolts before tightening the steering tube clamp.)
The overall fit & finish feels a bit on the cheaper side compared to similarly priced non-adjustable stems. And there is a bit more weight to it. But it does feel like it's built for a gravel bike and not a comfort bike like most other adjustables. Until someone offers a good fixed steep angle stem, this might be a 6'3" guy's best and only option.
