Building upon the superb Pathfinder Pro, the S-Works Pathfinder receives an updated Grid Race casing that increases puncture resistance while reducing rolling resistance and weight. The tread pattern rolls extremely fast and uses progressively ramped shoulder knobs for more bite as you lean the bike over into a corner, while Gripton Dual T5/T7 compounds work together to balance fast rolling properties with high grip properties. Nothing delivers more speed and traction in gravel than the S-Works Pathfinder.

  • Gripton Dual T5/T7 compound puts the fast rolling T5 compound in the center of the tread and grippy T7 compound on the shoulders
  • Grid Race lightweight cross-woven sidewall reinforcement improves tear and puncture resistance while maintaining supple ride qualities
  • BlackBelt puncture protection runs under the entire tread of the tire increasing puncture resistance and durability
  • Tubeless Ready ready casing allows rider to run lower pressures while reducing the chances of pinch-flatting

Specialized S-Works Pathfinder Tubeless Gravel Tire (Tan Wall) (700c) (42mm)
For my new gravel bike I started out with the Specialized Tracer Pro tires in size 47mm and put them on the Roval Terra CLX EVO wheels with an internal width of 30mm. This spread the tires out and gave them a 52mm width, yes that is correct. After mounting the 42mm S-Works Pathfinders they measured 47mm. To be honest I am not sure if I can tell a great difference even with the set of Pathfinders being 210 grams lighter. I now see how good those inexpensive Tracer tires were but still happy to have the Pathfinders in a smaller size. I use Specialized tires on all my bikes - keep in mind they started out as a tire manufacturer and all their tires rival the very best brands!
